Greenroads Foundation (“Greenroads”) is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation which advances sustainability education and initiatives for transportation infrastructure. As the developer of the Greenroads Rating System®, the Foundation manages the certification process for sustainable transportation development projects in the U.S. and internationally. Greenroads Foundation does business internationally as Greenroads International (“Greenroads”). As a User ("you," "your," or yourself") of this website (the "Website") and other products and services supporting the everyday business operations of Greenroads Foundation, you agree to abide by and comply with this Privacy Policy. You can contact us at any time to limit our sharing of your data, to request a record of how we use your information, or to partially delete or completely delete all records of your personal data. Please contact support@greenroads.org or call us at 425-376-0685.

If you are a new customer, we may begin sharing your information the date we send this notice. When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice. Else, customer records are governed by the most recent Document Retention Policy established by the Board of Directors. A copy of this policy is available on written request.

How does Greenroads protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use a variety of security measures. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. We authorize our employees to get your information only when they need it to do their work, and we require vendors that work for us to protect your information.

This information is only accessed by a limited number of our staff with administrative privileges according to the permissions you have given us when you submit your information and use our website.

Website activities

We track some information about your use of our website that is used for internal business purposes.

We track and store IP addresses for purposes of identifying the individual that signs online program service agreements and this information is stored as a permanent part of the agreement (digital signature). Alternately, you may print any of our online agreements at any time, and provide them to us digitally or by mail at 1700 Westlake Avenue North, Suite 200, Seattle, WA 98109. You may also request an electronic copy or paper copy of any online agreement.
