Join Greenroads

Greenroads is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, so your membership dues may be eligible for a tax deduction (please consult a tax professional!).

Members-Only Benefits

All individual members receive:

All organization members receive:

• Special discounts on Greenroads services, activities and events
• Periodic e-newsletter*
• A Greenroads Member logo for promotional use*
• Public listing of organization's name in the Greenroads Member Directory
• Volunteer opportunities for full-time employees
• Priority selection for committee participation for full-time employees

*Organizations will need to designate a primary contact person when joining.

Individual Membership Classes & Dues

Individual members are classified into three categories and have different dues:

• Student Members ($25/year). Student members are individuals currently enrolled at least 1/2 time at a qualifying educational institution.
• Civic Members ($75/year). This category is reserved for employees of government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other public entities.
• Professional Members ($95/year). Everyone else falls into this category.

Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to be a Greenroads member or provide written permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Organization Membership Classes & Dues

Organizations are classified into two member categories based on their involvement in the roadway design and construction industry. We use these classifications to serve you better. Based on the information provided to us in your membership application, your organization will be assigned to one of these classes.

• Roadbuilder. A business entity in the business of building, operating, maintaining, and/or planning roadways such as transportation agencies (DOTs), designers, contractors, planners and roadway product suppliers, distributors and manufacturers.
• Affiliate. A business entity such as professional societies, universities, non‐profit organizations, trade associations, and all other government entities, societies, groups, organizations, and consultants.

Introductory dues for 2012 for both Roadbuilder and Affiliate Member Classes are set in three tiers based on the total number of employees or annual revenue as follows:

• $250/year. Government agencies or small businesses with less than 10 employees, and non-profits 
• $500/year. Organizations with 10-100 employees and less than $200 million in annual revenue
• $750/year. Organizations with $200 million or more in annual revenue or more than 100 employees

Note also that organizations and individuals can also be charitable sponsors of Greenroads. (Founding Sponsorships are available through August 2013 and include extended membership benefits.)
