How Much Does Greenroads Cost?

Greenroads bases its Certification fees on the size of the project (measured by the engineer's estimate of the construction contract price) and otherwise charges fees for its assessment services based on the complexity of the service. We may charge additional fees for travel and communication of approximately 10% for international projects.

• All projects must submit a free screening application.
• After your eligibility is determined, all projects must register. The registration fee can be stand-alone and costs $495; otherwise, it is included in any of the fees quoted on this website unless noted otherwise. Registration is complete when we have received a signed contract and fee (which we send to you after you are screened).

Certification: Fee Estimate (Approximate)

Enter the engineer's estimate of the construction contract price (CP) below in US dollars to get a quick estimate of the fee for certification. Do not include land acquisition costs or design fees, if known. We strongly recommend that you fill out the free screening application before relying on this tool so that we can help give you a more accurate estimate of the certification cost, especially if you have a complex project with several segments or phases.

The minimum cost for certification is $4,995 for projects $10 million or less. Larger projects costs more to certify but we charge a smaller fee as a percentage of the project cost. Learn more here.
